My name is Sonia. I am Brazilian and I have been teaching Portuguese as a foreign language for over 20 years. I really love what I do and I also like to learn foreign languages myself.
I have traveled a lot over the years and I have lived in different countries (Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore). I am interested in other cultures and I like to meet people of different nationalities.
I have a ten-year-old daughter and I speak only to her in Portuguese. My daughter is fluent in German, Portuguese and English.
Whenever I go to Brazil on holiday, I always buy lots of books, CDs and DVDs for her so she can increase her knowledge of Portuguese and also learn more about the Brazilian culture through stories, songs and movies.
